Noordwijkerhout, the town in the middle of dunes, woods, the sea and the beach, is known from way back because of the 'Little White Church', dating from the 13th century.
The central location makes a visit to the nearby cities of Amsterdam (35 km), The Hague (25 km), Haarlem (20 km) and Leiden (15 km) worthwhile. In a sheltered place behind the stretch of dunes, at walking distance from the beach, you find lovely camping sites. In spring time, the whole area becomes a sea of colours, with blooming daffodils, tulips and hyacinths.
