In Delft, the city of famous 17th century painter Vermeer, you can now not only visit the Vermeer centre but also sleep in the style of Vermeer.
In April 2007, Hotel de Emauspoort unveiled its special Vermeer room. With its striking floor, authentic furniture, reproductions of Vermeer’s paintings and heritage-style bathroom, this is the most original place to spend a night in Delft.
