Visitors Centre at The Peace Palace in The Hague

The Peace Palace in The Hague recently acquired a brand new Visitors Centre. Situated by the main entrance to the palace, this centre provides information about the history of the Peace Palace, the institutions and the work that they do. In the Visitors Centre, you can watch a short film and enjoy an exhibition about the origins of the Peace Palace.

The Peace Palace
The Peace Palace in The Hague is the seat of the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA), the International Court of Justice (ICJ) or World Court, The Hague Academy of International Law and the Peace Palace Library. In addition to hosting these institutions, the Palace is also a regular venue for special events in international policy and law.

Opening hours
The Visitors Centre is open daily up to and including October from 10am to 5pm, except Monday. During the winter, the centre closes at 4pm. Admission is free. The Visitors Centre provides information in seven languages: Dutch, English, French, Spanish, Chinese, Russian and Arabic. Guided tours of the Peace Palace can also be arranged.
