Discover the best places to visit with the Groene Hart Layar-app
The Groene Hart (Green Heart) now has its own Groene Hart Layar-app. With the GPS and compass in your smartphone, the Groene Hart Layar-app can determine your location and provide you with information about the surrounding area.
Information on location
By means of the Groene Hart Layar-app, information is shown on your mobile phone regarding outings, events and places to visit, within a maximum radius of 10 kilometres from your location. There is also the possibility of filtering the complete tourist offer according to a theme. For example, it is quick and easy for you to see where there is an interesting museum you can visit in the neighbourhood, where the best restaurants and cafés are located, where there are beautiful nature areas, and much more.
Practical information
In addition, the layar-app provides practical information about opening times and prices, for example. With the help of this app, it is even easier for you to become acquainted with the many places of interest in the Groene Hart, the green ‘heart’ between the four large cities of Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam and Utrecht.
Downloading the Layar-app
The app can be downloaded for free by iPhone and Androïd customers. Once you have downloaded the Layar-app, you can select the Groene Hart layar within this app.
