Royal Delft Experience

Royal Delft ExperienceRoyal Delft is currently working on the Royal Delft Experience, a new attraction that allows visitors to experience the authentic Royal Delft Blue production process even more intensively. The new attraction will be open to the general public from spring 2012. Founded in 1653, Royal Delft is the only remaining Delfts earthenware factory from the 17th century. To this day, the world-famous Delft Blue ceramics are painted by hand here.

Experience Delft Blue
The Royal Delft Experience begins with an impressive story of the history of Royal Delft, followed by a step-by-step explanation of the production process. Other famous names associated with Delft, such as Johannes Vermeer and the Dutch Royal Family, also feature extensively during the new Royal Delft Experience tour.

Open during renovation
The museum will remain open during the renovation work, which is scheduled for completion in spring. The route through the museum will temporarily be changed so that visitors experience the least possible inconvenience from the work. As before, visitors can attend a painting demonstration and visit the factory. The showroom houses the complete collection of classic and modern Delft Blue designs.

Royal Delft is easily accessible from Delft, The Hague, Rotterdam and Amsterdam, and parking is free.
